Mark P. Bula
HSS Director
Mark Bula is the HSS Director of the Steel Tube Institute. Mr. Bula joined the Institute in July 2011 to head the HSS Committee’s activities, including a major new program for Producer Certification, a CES Education Credit Program and long-term strategic and marketing initiatives to grow the market share of HSS.
Before joining STINA, Mr. Bula served as Chief Commercial Officer for Steel Development Company, a primary steel producer of carbon rebar. Prior to that he was the Managing Director of Root Learning, a strategic consulting firm and was the founder and managing partner of Marketing Minds, LLC, a strategic marketing firm. He also held management, sales and marketing positions with National Steel, Nucor and SeverCorr Corporation.
Mr. Bula earned an MBA Degree at the University of Toledo and a BS Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University.
He has been an active volunteer in his community, coaching Junior Olympic volleyball, serving on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and doing volunteer work for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Mark, his wife and two children live in Memphis, TN.
